The room was immaculately clean and I can't honestly suggest how it
could be improved. The room was spacious and the beds very comfortable.
I will definitaly recommend it to friends and will definitely stay there

The staff were very good and helpful- restaurant very acceptable with a very good (eat as much as you want) breakfast.
The rooms were typical Premier Inn-so you know what to expect and you know the quality to expect (Good).
Excellent location for the rail station and a short walk in to town. -

Staff were young but so polite, they were a credit to themselves and to premier inn.
Rooms quiet, bed huge, all staff in all areas acknowledged us, we have stayed in premier inns before but the service here was exceptional

my friends and i came to york for a couple of days there was supposed to be four of us but one pulled out so two were booked in your hotel i myself was booked into the travel lodge on arriving at premier inn we noticed that we could have all stayed in the one room but i went down to travel lodge and went to room i we were totaly dissgusted it was v

Close to the main train station and to one of the city gates giving
access to the city walls. Easy walking distance to the sites of the old
city. Effective air conditioning, which was necessary during the week we
were visiting.Overall, a very comfortable, family friendly business type

Bar Convent is lovely. It's cheap, clean, safe, quiet, comfortable, welcoming and convenient for central York.
It isn't luxurious, but you don't choose to stay in a working convent if you want luxury. Everything you need is there and more, including a huge garden which is a big plus in York city centre.
It's also wonderful as a solo traveller to stay somewhere that doesn't make you feel like a second-class guest and has thought about the facilities you'll want, like a communal sitting room, din

It is quirky in layout, yet has a very cosy feel. All the staff were very helpful and friendly. The breakfast was excellent, lots of choice and hot options cooked to order. The staff are amazingly friendly and really made us feel welcome. Everyone was cheerful, helpful and all round nice. It felt more like a family hotel than a chain hotel (and I mean that as a positive comment.)

It is located at a walking distance from the rail station and close to the cathedral. - Liked bieng in a room at the rear of the hotel,so noise from the adjoining night club was minimal. Great location in central York, also one of the only hotels that allow one-night only booknigs. The rooms were lovely, great bathrooms all newly refurbished and airy. I left my sat-nav on show in my car, they even phoned me while I was out to let me know and then went to my room found my car keys and got it out for me! Would definitely stay here ag

The hotel staff are extremely helpful. The rooms are comfortable and clean. The food is very good and I would really recommend this hotel.
