  very friendly and relaxed place and staff. Good breakfast too. - Nicely equipped room and very comfortable bed. Very good value for the price. Bar is lively, and a good outdoor terrace for us smokers. Helpful and courteous staff.

  For a guest house in a large city this was an excellent choice. There was on site parking which is a bonus as parking in Jesmond is difficult It is close to the city centre but also with easy routes to the coastal areas. I stayed as a solo traveller and the hotel provided me with everything I needed. The free parking was very handy, as was the free wi-fi. The cooked full English breakfast was also great, and the staff who served me were very helpful and friendly; recommending some great restaurants nearby.
