  We needed a comfortable hotel near Aldgate and HAC, as we were meeting friends in Aldgate and going to a dinner at HAC. This hotel looks and feels brand new but has actually been open for years. The rooms all had single beds which was more acceptable than double beds. The hotel was very good value for money including the breakfast. The bar was very reasonable and stayed open as long as we wanted to drink which was into the early hours and the staff were very accommodating putting on musi
