The room was great, lovely and clean and a good size. The location was
excellent and within easy reach of both the town and the countryside
(which is beautiful, and there are some lovely walks and near by towns
to visit). Breakfast was great and a good choice on offer. The tapas at
Cafe Bar 26 was lovely and we would recommend a visit to Casa Bella
(Italian restaurant) the food is delicious. The staff were friendly and
helpful. I arranged the weekend for my partner's 40th and asked

The rooms were very comfortable and cool, even though the weather was very hot (there is no air conditioning, but the room still remained nice and cool). The bar was very lively and a great place for a drink etc, and the noise all stopped by 11pm, which was ideal. The breakfasts, although only served between 9 and 9.30am were excellent.
Very friendly and helpful staff - arrived with two road bikes on a very wet and cold Friday evening and they couldn't have been more helpful. Food (tapas) was excellent later. Nice atmosphere in the bar/restaurant too. Good breakfast the morning after - and didn't mind making it 30 mins earlier.
We liked everything about Cafe 26, the staff were so friendly and obliging, almost nothing was too much trouble to them.
The room was so comfortable and we liked the atmosphere of cafe 26, which appeared to busy during a lot of the time of our stay.
The breakfasts were just superb.
Room is big enough and comfort. Food is very delicious. Close to lake Keswick. I like the decoration style in the room. But it is a little bit uncomfortable to through the bar when we go out and back as it is the only exit when we stay.

In a very good location with a nice friendly atmosphire down in the bar, a very good breakfast was served down there. All in all a great few days was had and would stay agian.

At the time we were there there was building work being carried out which was very noisey especialy durring breakfast.
A minor complaint, but a little more drawer space in the bedroom would have been ideal.
No parking except pay parking at the rear. I however, asked the bar staff and they could tell me where to park for free (2min walk around the corner).
