  Booked at short notice, based on reviews on this site. Just returned home. Having stayed we can say that the reviews were spot-on! The hotel is stylish, very clean, the rooms are huge and very comfortable. The bathroom is large. Fluffy towels. Room nicely decorated. The breakfast buffet was was good. It is a short trip outside the city but it is opposite "Star City", which is a good leisure facil - We had a twin room on the 3rd floor, it was very spacious, the beds were comfortable with a choice of pillows which was a nice touch. The towels were a good size and quality and the soap/shampoo(etc) dispensers in the bathroom were again a brilliant touch. The coffee machine in the lobby was brilliant and gave nice strong hot coffee. The staff were also cheerful and helpful.   The staff were excellent, especially as they were unable to find our booking which we made through letsbookhotel.com. They handled the situation very quickly and were able to make a new booking at the price we had originally booked. The rooms were very clean and we had an excellent view over Birmingham.   We liked everything about this hotel. The reception staff were organised, friendly, welcoming and efficient. Our room was ready by 12 noon, was spotlessly clean and well equipped with huge bath sheets, ample toiletries, gowns and slippers. We had complementary sparkling water, orange juice and chocolate. I cannot fault this place if it is a touch more dearer than some other hotels you will only regret not paying to stay here
