Rien en particulier; petit déjeuner convenable toutefois. - I had a single room that was a good size, clean and comfortable. With free WiFi and room enough to spread work out the room doubled up as a rather useful office too.
I'll certainly be using the hotel again and have already recommended it to a couple of associates.

Staff were helpful in directing to me the hotel when I got lost. Now that I know where it is, it is very conveniently located for my work. The room was very comfortable and it was so peaceful I had an excellent night's sleep. The breakfast was also excellent. Will definately stay there again.

Very friendly staff. I got there after midnight, several hours late
because of consecutive public transport problems, and did not have their
number on me to inform them of my late arrival. The staff member on call
let me in, and was very nice and helpful to me. The building is old but
they try to liven it up with bright colours etc, which creates a
cheerful and vibrant atmosphere. My (private) room was cosy, with a
comfortable bed, clean towels and coffee and tea facilities.

The atmosphere as soon as you enter the foyer, the reception area and our room were all extremely pleasing! We loved our room, on the 12th floor, very roomy, great views, great kitchen area for having pre dinner drinks with friends! We would definitely stay again! -

Seeing as this hotel only opened up 5 days before I arrived it was
immaculate, clean, tidy, fresh, open, bright, welcoming and many more.
The best thing about this hotel was the Aircon as I always seem to
overheat in other hotels that offer it but it’s just a fan on the wall,

The hotel was easy to find, as I arrived at the Birmingham train station (about 15 minutes walk).
At arrival, staff was friendly and check-in straightforward and quick.
They gave me big room with a double-bed, with a modern decoration in the 8th floor. A great desk and office chair for work with laptop was available. A generous LCD with relatively good variety of British TV programs. The room was very quite, no noises interrupted me at sleep.
Breakfast quality was compatible with paid amount.

The whole concept is fantastic!! The room was gorgeous, like having your own trendy pad in the city! The fact that the staff were focussed on the guests' needs at all times. They were obviously working as a team under the ethos that enthusiasm and professionalism establishes the standard of the hotel - and it worked!
The concept of the hotel was interesting (an eye hospital transformed into a luxury hotel) and that difference added to its charm.

We used Hotel du Vin as a base for a hen party and enjoyed drinks in the bar, booked Afternoon Tea and a Cocktail Masterclass, along with the accommodation. All the staff are very friendly and accommodating. Location was perfect for everyone and suited our trip. A lovely weekend and appreciated the little touch of having the Hen's name outside the function room we were using for the Cocktail Masterclass.
