  Very friendly staff, lovely clean room with a beautiful view of the hills around Bakewell. Facilities for self-catering. Very quiet location, and yet still a short walk down the hill to the town centre. I only stayed 1 night as was attending a local conference so didnt get time to fully appreciate the room but will most certainly return. The bed was one of the most comfortable I have experienced in a hotel/lodge.
