Very quiet location, and yet still a short walk down the hill to the town centre. I only stayed 1 night as was attending a local conference so didnt get time to fully appreciate the room but will most certainly return. The bed was one of the most comfortable I have experienced in a hotel/lodge.

  John and Gilly are fantastic hosts and make you feel really welcome. The cottage is beautiful as is the location and is exactly the sort of place my fiance and I love. We have stayed in many a boutique before now and I can tell you with great confidence, that River Cottage comes extremely high on the list, only to be beaten by Kegworth House on va... ce que les gens disent » lue for money. Having said that the breakfast at River Cottage would take some beating so we'll call it a draw. Wonderful stay and will definitely be - Very friendly & hospitable cover staff whilst owners were away. Location perfect for surrounding area. House & garden fantastic. Good parking. Very clean, well appointed rooms. Fabulous breakfast. All the little details well thought out. Best B&B I've ever stayed at.
