Excellent location - near to The Motorpoint Centre & Meadowhall Shopping Centre. On arrival the hotel's computer system was down but staff remained professional, helpful and very welcoming. I loved the layout of the room, it was not to crowded which meant there was space to read and relax. The en-suite was amazing and I very much enjoyed the shower, even the shower gel dispenser I found quaint and easy to use. The friendly welcoming staff who were only too pleased to help out with a problem we had with the TV at the start of our stay. The room was clean and spacious and the bed was extremely comfortable. Also the breakfast was excellent value. We were in Sheffield for the snooker championships and the hotel was a short walk to the city centre and the venue.

My stay was only brief --- overnight whilst visiting Sheffield --- but as I'd stayed in the hotel previously I knew what to expect (and wasn't disappointed). the dining room staff were so friendly and helpful...nothing too much trouble...Diane and Natasha were lovely people and treated us almost as if we were friends! the breakfast choices were superb and we felt well looked after.. despite there being 500 rooms we hardly saw anyone in the dining room, although we went down at 7am each day.. Although there is limited Parking (60 spaces) do not let this put you off. It is superbly placed for City Centre attractions including the 02 Acadamy (300metres).Friendly Staff. Amazing staff, both on reception and in the restaurant. They were lovely and very helpful. I couldn't stay for breakfast and one particularly lovely man in the restaurant insisted on making me a bacon sandwich to take to the station with me. Wrapped in tinfoil, even had the bread lightly toasted to keep it firm, so thoughtful. He also put a few little muffins in the paper bag in case I wanted something sweet.
