I loved the layout of the room, it was not to crowded which meant there was space to read and relax. The en-suite was amazing and I very much enjoyed the shower, even the shower gel dispenser I found quaint and easy to use. The friendly welcoming staff who were only too pleased to help out with a problem we had with the TV at the start of our stay. The room was clean and spacious and the bed was extremely comfortable. Also the breakfast was excellent value. We were in Sheffield for the snooker championships and the hotel was a short walk to the city centre and the venue.

My stay was only brief --- overnight whilst visiting Sheffield --- but as I'd stayed in the hotel previously I knew what to expect (and wasn't disappointed). The friendly and attentive staff, especially Alan on night reception duty and the very courteous young lady the following morning. The very comfortable beds that ensured a good night's sleep. the dining room staff were so friendly and helpful...nothing too much trouble...Diane and Natasha were lovely people and treated us almost as if we were friends! the breakfast choices were superb and we felt well looked after.. despite there being 500 rooms we hardly saw anyone in the dining room, although we went down at 7am each day.. The rooms and its facilities. Well sized, with plenty of space to move around, the air conditioning worked properly, the bed was in very good order and the bedding was clean and comfortable. It is superbly placed for City Centre attractions including the 02 Acadamy (300metres).Friendly Staff. Good selection at breakfast. Eat in the restaurant or order any meal and eat in your room.

Amazing staff, both on reception and in the restaurant. They were lovely and very helpful. I couldn't stay for breakfast and one particularly lovely man in the restaurant insisted on making me a bacon sandwich to take to the station with me. Wrapped in tinfoil, even had the bread lightly toasted to keep it firm, so thoughtful. He also put a few little muffins in the paper bag in case I wanted something sweet.
