  Rudy made my experience in Madrid so great. He's so helpful and goes above and beyond the call of duty when it comes to making the guests happy. The hostel has a huge common room so it's very easy for people to meet each other. The other staff members are equally as nice. The hostel is also close to the city center so I didn't need to buy transport passes. I will definitely - Could not fault this hostel, staff where really helpful and friendly and hostel was perfectly clean and you got a good free breakfast. It also is in an excellent loaction right near the cool Malansa area with all vintage shops and cool bars and you could walk to any major attraction in 2Omins. As a solo female traveller I felt totally at home, would stay here again if I was in madrid and would recomend to anyone!

  I really enjoyed my stay here at Residencia Lourdes. The women who runs this hostel is very nice and is more than willing to give you advice on where to go and places to have fun. Extremely cosy, warm, very clean and friendly, well located, close to Gran Via and therefore close to everything in Madrid the hostal offered us the best opportunity in Madrid for feeling excellent. For people willing to go to Madrid I would kindly suggest to have a very pleasant stay at hostal America.
