This is one of those places you don't want everyone to find out
about because it'll be fully booked when we want to go back! The
apartment we were in was a large 2 bed apartment with all the mod cons
you could think of, 3 huge TV's, dvd, Sauna, steam shower, jacuzzi
bath with wine fridge in reach, oven, microwave, coffee machine, fridge

The facilities were exactly as described and more - our apartment was
well-equipped and very spacious. For a group of friends visiting Tromso,
this was the perfect lodging solution as we were able to save money
cooking some of our meals. The staff at Viking Apartments were also very
informative and always willing to help in any way possible. They even
gave us free waffles before we left!
It was an absolutely fantastic value for money, and I will definitely recommend Viking Apartments to my frie

Everybody @ the front-desk was very helpful with suggestions, ideas
and advises. In the heart of Tromso and very close to restaurants and
shopping. In walking distance to main attractions and museum. Very
helpful was the kitchenette where I could prepare meals, since
everything is pretty expensive for continental European standards.
Safe place to stay, as the whole city. In the future I'll stay
there again!

The receptionist (the Spanish / Norwegian one) was very charming. These kind of people make a hotel for what it is. Hotel was clean and staff was friendly , my bed was comfortable , location was near to city center 15 mins walk and a good value for money , room had a very good view to lake and mountain . Reception showed us a good restaurant near hotel its name was PitzaExpress and I recommend hotel and PitzaExpress to everyone

I liked the location which was very convenient and the rooms were quite comfortable. The breakfasts were quite substantial to set you up for the day. The small downside for me was the late night bar which i passed by the previous year has now shut down. There were no explanations why but I remember getting a very nice night cap in there once. -

At first we were allocated an unrenovated room but after a quick conversation at the hotel reception we were given a fully renovated suite. This made our stay very comfortable. The staff were very helpful, the breakfasts great and the bed very comfortable.

Très bon buffet, internet en accès libre - Excellent and very friendly staff. Nothing was too much trouble for them. The location could not be better being very central to everything in town. - Location, Cleanliness- the room was spotless, the view from the the front room- you have to pay for that but it worth, the pleasent stuff

Everything! The lady who checked us in after being in transit for 38 hours was nothing but helpful and greeted us warmly. We were even informed that we were upgraded to a business class room which was greatly appreciated. very nice staff and very good location. it locates the center of tromso and just 2 min walk from the central bus station. The facilities in hotel is good. I'm impressed with the sauna with amazing night view on the 10th floor...more importantly it's free!! Strongly recommend it! and the room rate is quite reasonable=D

For a basic hotel this place is really rather good; the breakfast room was spotless with quite a selection of cold food (but no fruit).

First of all: this is Norway, which means higher standards and the need
for (much) deeper pockets. Having this is mind, the hotel was just fine;
you get what you pay for. The breakfast is included in the price, which
is something really valuable in this part of the world; the food was ok.
The staff was excellent. I asked for a room with a view, I got it. Asked
for a taxi, they made the reservation for the morning. Everything was

Good location to see the Northern Lights with a nice scenary of the
coast. I can see the Northern Lights from the window of the room. The
second floor at coast side is the better choice. However, walk to the
coast is the best location.

This is a really great place!
We were a group of 4 friends spending a weekend in there.
The first thing you notice is the extremely friendly staff ! there is also free coffee and tea at the reception and you can also make your own waffles during the afternoon. Breakfast was also great. The room was very clean and the location of the hotel is very central.

The location is excellent, particularly if you are taking the Hurtigruten boat along the coast. The embarkation point is 50 metres away. The hotel is central, and the tourist office and airport bus stop are even closer. Its great virtue is that it is cosy and friendly, and you are encouraged to use it as a base whether you have checked out or not.

The hotel is very clean, comfortable and environmentally conscious. The room was comfortable with heated bath room floors. The staff is very helpful and breakfast is very good with a wide variety. The complimentary afternoon waffles are fantastic. You cannot beat the location. The hotel is in the center of everything and a two minute walk from the airport bus, Hurtigruten ship terminal, popular bars and restaurants and main shopping strip.

Comparatively, ABC Nord hotell is one of the lower priced hotels but the rooms were still comfortable and the large communal Kitchen is a lifesaver for those on a budget - You could easily save a lot by buying fresh fish and salad/vegetables at the grocery store and cooking it yourself, or go all out by cooking a gourmet meal (which I did some people do), or, if you're less ambitious, heat up a frozen pizza or tv dinners in one of their ovens.

The location on the water front, with views of the harbour and snow capped hills, is superb. The rooms are well arranged; and the additional bed for child was very comfortable. Very nice hotel, perfect location (although the location of most hotels
in Tromso is quite good since the city is not too big). Also pickup-
point for most day excursions. Very nice breakfast with fresh fruits.
Good rooms with nice bed, sofa and good view. Hotel with good
