  This is one of those places you don't want everyone to find out about because it'll be fully booked when we want to go back! The apartment we were in was a large 2 bed apartment with all the mod cons you could think of, 3 huge TV's, dvd, Sauna, steam shower, jacuzzi bath with wine fridge in reach, oven, microwave, coffee machine, fridge freezer, w... ce que les gens disent » ifi, heated floors - I could go on!!! Everything was to hand and it's a 3 minute walk to the main street. There are 3 supermarkets in walking distance - The facilities were exactly as described and more - our apartment was well-equipped and very spacious. For a group of friends visiting Tromso, this was the perfect lodging solution as we were able to save money cooking some of our meals. The staff at Viking Apartments were also very informative and always willing to help in any way possible. They even gave us free waffles before we left! It was an absolutely fantastic value for money, and I will definitely recommend Viking Apartments to my frie

  City Living have a perfect location in the middle of Tromsø, close to restaurants, bars and shopping. The airport bus stops few meters from the hotel. Good size apartments with stylish interior and good furnitures. Greate beds, pillows and blankets. Very clean apartments. Nice little kitchen with all you need for a light meal. Excellent service in reception, they where very kind and helpful. - Everybody @ the front-desk was very helpful with suggestions, ideas and advises. In the heart of Tromso and very close to restaurants and shopping. In walking distance to main attractions and museum. Very helpful was the kitchenette where I could prepare meals, since everything is pretty expensive for continental European standards. Safe place to stay, as the whole city. In the future I'll stay there again!

  The receptionist (the Spanish / Norwegian one) was very charming. These kind of people make a hotel for what it is. Taking some time for small talk and giving you some trivial information about the area. The room was as expected, clean, proper but not too spacious. Distance from bus or city center are ok, but it´s a little off.   I liked the location which was very convenient and the rooms were quite comfortable. The breakfasts were quite substantial to set you up for the day. The small downside for me was the late night bar which i passed by the previous year has now shut down. At first we were allocated an unrenovated room but after a quick conversation at the hotel reception we were given a fully renovated suite. This made our stay very comfortable. The staff were very helpful, the breakfasts great and the bed very comfortable.

  Everything! The lady who checked us in after being in transit for 38 hours was nothing but helpful and greeted us warmly. We were even informed that we were upgraded to a business class room which was greatly appreciated. Yes it can be busy at times but that is to be expected. The staff work efficiently to clear tables and assist - very nice staff and very good location. it locates the center of tromso and just 2 min walk from the central bus station. The facilities in hotel is good. I'm impressed with the sauna with amazing night view on the 10th floor...more importantly it's free!! Strongly recommend it! and the room rate is quite reasonable=D

  We are very happy to recommend this hotel which is a short walk (5-10 mins) from the centre of Tromso. We stayed in an apartment on the first floor (no. 16 upstairs I think) which was perfectly suited to our needs. The bed was very comfortable and there was sufficient space for two people to spread out all their winter gear. We were a group of 4 friends spending a weekend in there. The first thing you notice is the extremely friendly staff ! there is also free coffee and tea at the reception and you can also make your own waffles during the afternoon. Breakfast was also great. The room was very clean and the location of the hotel is very central.

  The location is excellent, particularly if you are taking the Hurtigruten boat along the coast. The embarkation point is 50 metres away. The hotel is central, and the tourist office and airport bus stop are even closer. There is free coffee and tea available at all times, and you can make waffles from lunchtime onward - The hotel is very clean, comfortable and environmentally conscious. The room was comfortable with heated bath room floors. The staff is very helpful and breakfast is very good with a wide variety. The complimentary afternoon waffles are fantastic. You cannot beat the location. The hotel is in the center of everything and a two minute walk from the airport bus, Hurtigruten ship terminal, popular bars and restaurants and main shopping strip.

However, we were told immediately that the previous people had already left and that reception would do what they could to make the room available asap. We were directed to the lounge and told where we could make a cup of t... ce que les gens disent » ea or coffee (available 24 hours a day); 20 minutes later at most we were told that our room was ready. - Comparatively, ABC Nord hotell is one of the lower priced hotels but the rooms were still comfortable and the large communal Kitchen is a lifesaver for those on a budget - You could easily save a lot by buying fresh fish and salad/vegetables at the grocery store and cooking it yourself, or go all out by cooking a gourmet meal (which I did some people do), or, if you're less ambitious, heat up a frozen pizza or tv dinners in one of their ovens.

  The location on the water front, with views of the harbour and snow capped hills, is superb. The rooms are well arranged; and the additional bed for child was very comfortable.   Lovely apartment situated in a lovely part of Tromso. The owner was so welcoming and even gave us dinner one evening. Thanks to him we also saw the Northern Lights for three hours on our final night from a lake which is a short walk from the apartment. The added bonus is being able to see the Northern lights from the kitchen window. It is a hundred yards from the main shopping street and an easy walk to everything worth visiting.
