  The service of the moteliers-they welcomed us warmly even though we arrived quite late. The heaters were on, and because it was a cold night it was wonderful to go into a warm room.   Absolutely fantastic service and facilties. Owner ensured that I was most comfortable and any request was seen to immediately. Was very informative and went out of her way to ensure that I was taken care of and even organised a blender for me so that I could make my own smoothies. Could not have been more accomodating and considerate.   Staff were very accommodating. We missed our flight so couldn't make our first planned nights stay. Although they didn't have to they were able to waive the room fee for that night which took a lot of pressure off us and made the remaining nights stress free.   Our room was large and very comfortable. The owners have thought of every little detail to make us feel at home. There was even a rack to hang your laundry if it was not quite dry. The two arm chairs were very comfortable for watching TV. The owners were helpful with advice about hikes and even checked the weather for us. We would definitely go back if we are ever in Wanaka again. - Our chalet was roomy, comfortable and well-equipped. The owner/manager, Bridget, is a gem. She gave us a warm welcome and could not have been more helpful. The motel has a quiet location about 10 min walk from the lake. This was our second stay and we would happily return.

  Although reception was closed when we arrived arrangements had been made to ensure our access to the room & key was available. Our unit had good cooking facilities. The shops & the supermarket were about 200 metres walk.Very friendly & helpful owner.
