  This is a review of the family unit/ studio unit for 4 persons. This studio unit is very good value for money for 4 persons compared to another room we had also stayed in ( a private twin/ double for 3 persons which was rather cramped ). It is spacious, has parking just outside the unit and comes equipped with ensuite bathroom and a kitchenette. ... ce que les gens disent » - Excellent place to go with a large party as you can hire out all the rooms within one unit and consume alcohol from any hour throughout the day, unlike all the other hostel/backpackers that like to have a curfew, very close to town, very comfortable and stress free stay!!   We had a studio apt without a view but it fit our needs since we did not plan to be in the room much. We did not mind the 10 - 15 minute walk into town because we liked the exercise. The studio was clean and efficient, even though it only had a refrig and microwave, we were able to fix our own breakfast every morning and have snacks & drinks f... ce que les gens disent » or later. Having the very efficient & modern washer & dryer (including soap) was very useful since we try to travel light. If we had planned t - 1) Professional, helpful & super friendly staff - Rowena and her staff were accommodating in every way. Accidentally had a night charged prior to my stay instead of during it. We worked out to keep the charge on instead of reversing it and provided with a bottle on wine on arrival. Also, had some issues with my CC, they were patient & understanding and, once sorted out & we decided to stay an extra night (4th), they offered a free night to honour a special on their website, regardle

  Absolutely fantastic service and facilties. Owner ensured that I was most comfortable and any request was seen to immediately. Was very informative and went out of her way to ensure that I was taken care of and even organised a blender for me so that I could make my own smoothies.   Our room was large and very comfortable. The owners have thought of every little detail to make us feel at home. There was even a rack to hang your laundry if it was not quite dry. The two arm chairs were very comfortable for watching TV. The owners were helpful with advice about hikes and even checked the weather for us. We would definitely go back if we are ever in Wanaka again. - Our chalet was roomy, comfortable and well-equipped. The owner/manager, Bridget, is a gem. She gave us a warm welcome and could not have been more helpful. The motel has a quiet location about 10 min walk from the lake. This was our second stay and we would happily return.

  We loved everything about this place, from the town (my husband's name is Clyde) to the room and the hosts and the dog called Mollie. We had a great time and if fortune ever takes us back to Clyde we will definitely stay here. Loved it!

The shops & the supermarket were about 200 metres walk.Very friendly & helpful owner. I made a last minute booking and turned up about 15 minutes before check-in finished but they were really happy to help and do as much as they could to make me feel welcome.   This BB is a wonderful place to stay if you are looking for a home away from home. The owners of the BB were very helpful and knowledgeable about all activities nearby. Although this is located about a 5min drive from downtown Queenstwon the view that you get of the lake from our personal patio was amazing. Monika - The staff/owners were very friendly and helpful, but not in an overbearing way. The rooms were very clean and the owner cooked us a delicious breakfast every morning. He also had numerous maps and brochures of the Queenstown area and attractions. Make sure to get the room with its own private hot tub and fireplace, with a view of Lake Wakatipu... definitely worth it!
