Something a lot of hotel rooms don't have is decent light to read by, this room had good lighting over the couch area, and good bedside lamps. There were plenty of options for our evening meal, we chose to walk around the block to a local restaurant rather than dine in. Loved walking along the beach and the access to the warm saltwater pool. Had a mini kitchen in our room so one visit to the Supermarket let us eat breakfast and lunch on our balcony.

The room was absolutely amazing, spotlessly clean and the beds were super comfy! When were checked out the next day, the lovely John retrieved our car for us and loaded our luggage in. The first room we were offered faced a wall but when we asked for a view room, we were quickly obliged. Location was great in terms of easy access to town centre. Good parking area.

Centrally located to Octagon, supermarkets and local attractions. Parking available on site. Thoroughly enjoyed our stay, would highly recommend.

  Was extremely clean, friendly staff, loved my room hostess. She left me fresh towels outside my door with a bug smiley face every morning. My parents stayed here hen they went to visit my sisters in Otago university. They liked the hotel and so I also stayed there. Definitely recommend it. Very comfortable and right in the city centre. The room was basic but very clean and the bed was extremely comfortable.   We were a group of friends stayed the night while attending a rugby test. We found the staff friendly & helpful. The units looked as thought they were recently refurbished. They were clean & tidy.
