  The taxi ride from the airport to the hotel was not a pleasant start to our stay in Sydney. A $40. ride turned out to be $77., but when arriving at the hotel the clerk was very nice and friendly and the rooms were available early, with all our baggage that was most appreciated. Bed was nice and clean and walking distance to the rail statio - Free shuttle to/from airport. Came very quickly to pick me up from airport and take me to hotel. Left promptly the next morning to get me back to airport for very early departure. Driver was very friendly. Restaurant, which was closed the night I arrived, gave me some cereal and milk as I was very hungry and it was after 10pm. I would stay there again if I travel to Auckland. The booking was easy online w/bookings.com
