I found the people were very friendly and I felt I received good value for my money. Having bikes for free use was a definite plus as it is easy to get to the ruins, beach and downtown by bike. The hotel has a good location (very close to the ruins, quite close to the town and also to the beach). Free bikes are great to have to move around. And we liked very much the bread at breakfast. Cosy spacious room, good air conditioning, big beds. well wroking wifi in the room. Nice outside sitting, pizza offered at the evenings.

We had a cabana right on the beach, maybe 50 feet from the water. The beach, water, and view were breathtaking. The ocean breeze was great to keep us from being too hot. It's perfect, if you value the raw beauty of nature, over amenities. The staff was super nice & the food & cocktails were really good, even by my spoiled NYC standards

It was a wonderful stay. We enjoyed every minute at the Hemingway. The location is outstanding, the breakfast (included) and the food delicious, and the staff very attentive and friendly indeed. The owner, Paola, was fantastic. Wonderful place for pets too. Looking forward to coming back to the Hemingway when we get a chance!

Upon arrival the staff greeted us and introduced themselves. The atmosphere was laid back and the staff really made you feel at home. Everyone was do sweet and friendly. The owner Karla was very gracious, introducing herself to patrons and gave us reccomendations on what to do/see, etc. The staff feels like family. Not stuffy and the grounds are beautifully kept. The restaurant has a nice variety of things to eat and they have a brick pizza oven. Also, The wifi was great and kept me connected.

Wonderful setting, at the end of a rather busy hotel zone, managed in a

We stayed at Dos Ceibas for 8 nights and it was absolutely amazing! The staff is very helpful and kind and if you get to know them a little you feel like family. It may take a day or two to find your groove here but once you do you will never want to leave. It is very peaceful, quiet and amazingly beautiful. The rooms are simple and charming (no frills) and have everything you need. The food in the restaurant is not the best food around but the price is good and it is definitely worth trying.

The staff was extremely accommodating of my requests (decorating our room with balloons and making a birthday cake for my friend's birthday before our arrival). The facilities were very clean, breakfast included was an excellent perk. (although service was always a bit slow so not for those that are in a rush!). hotel palma real was very budget friendly. it was cleaned daily and had a nice view for birding on the back deck or roof. the pool was nice and the staff let us use the fridge. we met other travelers there and were able to congregate in the lobby without interruption. the location is great for traveling to Coba and back or even to Tulum and back.

View from the room was awesome, can see the sun rise over the sea from the bed.
Beach is clean and white and goes for miles.
Water is warm and has a nice color.
Room in the tree, pretty fun.
Staff are nice(specially the woman and her daughter who take care of the cleaning).
Jukta was very helpful and really gives a good mood to the place. and gave us good advice before we arrived, like to bring mosquito creme and repelent, or hear plug in case you find the sound of the sea disturbing.
