The staff was extremely accommodating of my requests (decorating our room with balloons and making a birthday cake for my friend's birthday before our arrival). The facilities were very clean, breakfast included was an excellent perk. (although service was always a bit slow so not for those that are in a rush!). Wonderful setting, at the end of a rather busy hotel zone, managed in a
competent yet relaxed manner. Well-kept grounds with nice gardens,

We stayed at Dos Ceibas for 8 nights and it was absolutely amazing! The staff is very helpful and kind and if you get to know them a little you feel like family. It may take a day or two to find your groove here but once you do you will never want to leave. It is very peaceful, quiet and amazingly beautiful. The rooms are simple and charming (no frills) and have everything you need. The food in the restaurant is not the best food around but the price is good and it is definitely worth trying.

Loved our beachside cabana. It was so romantic, especially as we had to use candle light after the sun set. Really loved having outside baths whilst taking in the breathtaking sea views (advise mosquito repellent!!). We particularly enjoyed being braced by the warm sea breeze whilst sitting on our private balcony. Felt thoroughly relaxed lounging on the swings too. Fantastic location near to great restaurants and stunning beaches.

Upon arrival the staff greeted us and introduced themselves. The atmosphere was laid back and the staff really made you feel at home. Everyone was do sweet and friendly. The owner Karla was very gracious, introducing herself to patrons and gave us reccomendations on what to do/see, etc. The staff feels like family. Not stuffy and the grounds are beautifully kept. The restaurant has a nice variety of things to eat and they have a brick pizza oven. Also, The wifi was great and kept me connected.

Owner of the place, makes You feel like home, very helpful and friendly guy.
After checking out we had been left like 10 hours to our bus, thanks to hospitality of the owner we could left the luggage in the hotel, enjoy the beach for the rest of the day and after that take the shower in the hotel before the next trip. Perfect attitude!

The zen serenity was fantastic. A lot of the boutique hotels in tulum are in a better location on the Main Street but they don't have air conditioning or indoor plumbing which ny boyfriend and i wanted for our stay.
