This is a private members-only club that rents out rooms at their beautifully preserved historic building located perfectly at the centre of all the sights. Our experience at the Union Club was nothing but positive, the rooms were small but comfortable and the service in the restuarant was excellent as was the food. Awesome price for downtown Victoria and included breakfast that you could order off the menu not a continental style. The waiter was suburb. Would definitly stay again, also the no cell phones in the common area was very refreshing to say the least.

We enjoyed everything about this hotel. The staff were very friendly and helpful. The food was good and the bar staff were great and even made me a hot citrus drink at no charge when I exclaimed that I was unwell and unable to have an alcoholic beverage. The location was very centralised to all that we needed to do in Victoria. Internet found-All positive reviews to reassure and was very surprised to walk into out beautiful room with an amazing view of the harbour & better yet.. An excellent choice & will definitely be staying agin. Every aspect of downtown Victoria were in walking distance for us (as its a busy town with limited parking). I recommended this hotel to all my friends & family for furure stays. You won't be disapointed

For the money what I had was literally a nice apartment. The tub was amazing with its relaxing jets but as a shower it stunk. It has a full kitchen with quality pots and dishes, not the usual hotel crud. You could easily make breakfast right there and enjoy it on the patio and watch the joggers jet or the sea planes land in the harbor. Breakfast w

The room was a bit hard to find because it is not part of the main building. Great room though - separate living area, spacious, good wifi, comfy bed, clean...all the amenities a person wants in a room.
