I liked the layout of the room. The room was clean. I liked the bed. It was just right - not too firm, not too soft. I liked that there wasn't an old bedspread on top. We only stayed at this hotel for only a few hours (arrived late and had to take an early flight the next morning) for a flight connection. The only front staff that was working at that time was extremely friendly and helpful. The 5:30 AM continental breakfast and courtesy shuttle to the airport were much appreciated.

The room was extremely clean. The bedding was nice. There were lots of power outlets. Mirrors were handy. Bathtub and shower was nice. Curtains blocked out daylight and sound. Nice TV. -
Excellent location for Sidney. Their facilities are very well kept. Staff are helpful, professional and polite. Lots of parking.

The room was a reasonable size with a tv, coffee maker and kettle. The bed was very comfortable. There was a comfy chair so you can sit near the window. The bathroom was a good size and had nice bathroom accessories. The sea is directly across the road from the property, and there are picnic tables available. It is close to the town of Sidney

The staff were friendly and very helpful. Room was clean and comfortable. Location beautiful: water/island views and gardens. Close to bus stop to/from Victoria/Swartz Bay. A short bus ride from The Buchart Gardens. Nice short/flat walk to lovely town centre. Has a do it yourself laundry.

Our room was clean and comfortable; all the staff were very friendly and helpful. We were located on the top (second) floor with a spectacular view of the ocean and Mount Baker. We were pleasantly surprised to find that a continental buffet breakfast, as well as parking were included in the price of the room.

The staff was very pleasant and accommodating. They gave us a water view room when we asked if we could change and made every effort to let us stay the 2 nd night in the same room. They succeeded and we were very happy. We came back with some wine and the gentleman at the desk at the time saw us and asked if we would like some wine glasses for our room. The continental breakfast was very nice. Even the cleaning staff was friendly. We will definitely be back!

The first thing that impressed us was the attentive and accommodating staff. Then it was the cleanness if the hallways and rooms. We also thought the design and the colour palettes were pleasing, restful, and reflective of a seashore setting. Finally. We liked the location for its proximity to shops,restaurants, a d walking paths.

I was warmly welcomed, and shown to both a lovely room and a common den with fireplace and comfy seating. My room was exquisite, with a deliciously comfortable bed, seaviews from two windows and a lovely private bathroom. The rain-shower was sheer joy! The building is designated heritage and reflects the owners attention to detail.

The inn was historically beautiful and a feast for the eyes. The stone
and wood architecture, and the interior were of real quality from a
bygone era. The dining room was wonderful and having a light breakfast
was really appreciated. We were upgraded to a much larger room at no
additional cost. The innkeeper offered some history about the inn, but
we wish there had been more to read about it. The view to the marina was
very nice and it was just a quick walk away.

Wendy was welcoming, knowledgeable about the area, things to do in Sidney and very friendly. The house is beautiful and the room spacious and nicely decorated (with fresh flowers in the room). Coffee and tea were delivered to the room daily. The ocean view is fantastic. -
