  It's just off the Kings Cross wasn't noisy at all. Downstairs in both sides super cute n very friendly little coffee shops with excellent service n superb breakfast.   Very spacious and comfortable. I stayed to recover from surgery, and I could not fault it at all. I felt just as if not more comfortable than if I had stayed in my own house. So close to the city yet such such a quite location. Free parking was fantastic. They provided moccona coffee which was also a nice surprise.   My partner and I booked 4 nights here as it was a great price and location. We then extended 3 more nights as we really enjoyed it. Our room is nice and spacious with a Tv and balcony. Even though there are only ceiling fans we found it still did the trick and worked well! The breakfast was an added bonus with eggs, bacon, toast - We arrived at the hotel before check-in time, but had no problem getting to our room. When we got to our room one of the builders who was helping to renovate the hotel said that we were unable to get into our room - so we got an upgrade to a family room for free! The staff we very apologetic. Our room was good as we were in a section on our own, rarely bumped into anyone at the shared bathroom. The TV has a great choice of channels.   The location was ideal for frequenting the local University of NSW. The cafes and shops in Randwick were very close by. The lodge is also close to the airport. The manager and staff were lovely and caring.
