I loved how every morning just before sunrise, we would open up the
curtains and you could hear and see the ocean and the waves breaking
before you. You're just outside of all the shops and other hotels so
this gives you a sense of privacy. As you step out you see the water in
front of you and mountains and rainforests behind. -

Great facilities and size of room. Stayed for one night and was greeted on arrival warmly. On check out I was greeted by the lady at the desk using my first name brfore i even gave my details. Nice touch :-) -

Hotel Marengo is just one of the best value for money accommodations along the Great Ocean Road. We booked in the very last minute, in a try to ensure good weather for the trip, and actually, we did it right, not only with the weather, but with our choice for stay one night. The spa was a great (very big) and the room was very spacious. I liked the little balcony area too. They had free private parking and it was only a few minutes walk to the main shops and restaurants. I loved sitting out to watch the sun rise over the beach in the morning. -

We enjoyed the location. It was very quiet and peaceful. Great ocean view. Great place to sit out on the patio and look at the stars.

we upgraded to the apartment and it was the best stay with all the modern cons you could ask for. The beds were comfy and the pot belly stove was very welcome on a cold winters day, it truly was the best stay we had.
