  I was really impressed with how clean the facilities where. I have travelled a lot and I have been to 4 star hotels that where not as pristine as these where. The staff where excellent and really helpful when we had a minor set back on our travels, they helped us out when we needed a favour and we will always be grateful for that.   The owners of the hotel were very delightful and friendly to talk to. My partner and I booked the wrong room and they were happy to move us. They always were smiling and we brought our own pillows and when they made our bed the next day they uses our pillows instead of there'S. The rooms are very spacious and the owners made our trip that extra bit special so thank you for that. The next time we stay there - Thia was a friendly place in a very quiet residential location, close to, but not in the centre of the town. I had a lovely morning walk round watching birds such as galahs & honeyeaters. Some people might prefer to be on the sea front, But Appollo bay is a very small place, so it doesn;t make much difference, particularly if you have a car.
