  This hotel was so unique! The rooms are converted units in a brownstone so you get to feel like you're living in the city while you're there. Our room was great and eclectic--bright wall colors, bay window, hardwood floors, stained glass artwork, etc. Crown Heights is also a great neighborhood. Though we never saw any staff, they left signage and email instructions that told us how to get in, where to go and how to stay secure in the city environment.   We liked very much the hotel: The staff was great and very supportive,the room was nicely designed, the global atmosphere very positive andthe location exceptionnal as it is only a few blocks from the subway. Really comfy bed and carpet, everything is brand new. There was a blackboard and chalks in the bathroom and Henry Miller quotes on the corridor walls. Cool and artsy in a very Brooklynese way, loved it! Another guest review says the neighborhood is rundown, it's not. It's racially mixed and young, but not rundown at all.

  The staff was some of the friendliest and helpful I have ever experienced. They constantly went above and beyond with genuine personal attention, friendly greetings everywhere you turned and made sure we were taken care of no matter what it was we needed. The front desk was the most helpful - they were gracious and accommodating.   We arrived to a great staff, great location. Wilson put us on the top floor with a fantastic view of Brooklyn. We had a 12 and a 9 year old with us and the hotel was close to the top of their list of sites that included all of New Yorks hits. 12 year old got sick and the staff let us check out late and even sent toast and ginger ale to our room... mitä ihmiset sanovat » . Less than 2 blocks from subway entrance and 10 minute ride to Times Square. Barclay Center can be seen from hotel window and a 10 min walk away. - We enjoyed our stay at the Sheraton Brooklyn. The staff was very friendly and helpful. We especially thought Victor Balbi was most helpful, patient and accommodating with our needs for directions in getting around the City by Subway and planning our day sight seeing ny. He was always so pleasant & greeted us with his wonderful smile & friendly greeting when we got back from our day's outing. He certainly made our stay & visit to ny pleasant & enjoyable.   The location close to the A-C subway line AND the Burrough Hall station for the 2-3 makes it ideal for visiting both Manhattan and Brooklyn. Staff had nicely honored our request regarding a room type. Check out Montague Street for breakfast opportunities! - We liked our room, the cleanliness and the parking guys.
