  I'm from Brooklyn, a few blocks away in all actuality. I had no idea that this oasis even existed! The price is great comparing to any hotel in the area. The comfort of being in a extremely clean, warm & inviting environment is priceless. The block is quiet and FREE parking on the street is available. I would recommend and I plan on staying there on all my trips back, even though I have family that live nearby. - The inn keeper Michelle and her daughter were amazing. The place was very clean. A metro station is less then a 5 minute walk from the inn. The train takes you directly into Manhatten. Lots of resturants in the area, quiet side street. We stayed there 1 week and were very happy to have stayed there. The kitchen has a fridge/stove/microwave/coffee maker and eggs/coffee etc are provide to make yourself a good breakfast.

  The owner Mark and all his staff were extremely helpful. The B&B has lots of unique artefacts and is a really individual place to stay. My boyfriend loved searching the bookshelves for interesting things to read! We both appreciated the fast free wifi (there is also a desktop for guests to use free of charge). Innkeeper friendly and very knowledgeable about nyc. Staff went out of their way to help us out. All of this, and it was a better value than the hotels we could find in the area. Just be aware that nyc requires walking, and the subway was a few blocks away. And of course nyc is more expensive than most cities.
