The staff was incredibly friendly and even helpful with the baby we had with us. Parking was free! The beds were amazingly comfortable. And the room was very well appointed. - This is a fanatastic place to stay! It's very near my daughter, which is why I chose to stay there. The rooms are amazing: new, very "modern", and the blue light!

I was happy with my stay at NYC Hostel. This was my first stay and was there for one night only (in Nov 2013).
- The hostel was clean and staff were welcoming.
- You get a new bed-sheet, a comforter, pillow and a towel.
- Common bathroom has hot and cold water.
- No curfew. After checking in you can come in and go out at any time.

It's the best place to stay at Brooklyn! Cheap, clean, well-located, comfy and welcoming! The hosts and the other guests were very friendly, kind and respectful with me. I really enjoyed my experience at NYC Hostel and recommend to everybody.

I like that the front desk was friendly. The room is compact like a studio but not bad. Comfy! If your looking or expecting Four Seasons but your paying $69, get real! But let me tell you, this is the real New York experience coming from an New Yorker! The room is small like real rooms in ny but is clean and good if you need a place for a night or too! Its a couple blocks away from Barclay, not sure what Ghetto means to "some" people but it isnt the ghetto, maybe to citylike if your from Idaho

The staff went above and beyond to make us comfortable. When I asked if they had a rollaway they ended up offering a completely different room with two beds. Awesome. The breakfast that was included was great with a variety of wonderful options. The location was perfect - walking distance to everything we needed. -

We came to New york for the Thanksgiving weekend. We were looking for an inexpensive but comfortable and clean place to stay. This was 2 blocks from the subway syation into Manhattan.
