  It was at the quieter end of the beach, which suited us, with a fabulous view of the bay, and with carefully worked out parking arrangements. The town seemed to have facilities for all ages - in no particular order; sandy beach, restaurants, interesting shops, a working yet picturesque harbour, castle, nature reserve, small children's funfair, cin... mitä ihmiset sanovat » ema, great scenery in either direction, including the spectacular Chesil Beach and Portland Bill, Lulworth Cove and Durdle Door. - On the beach and long flat promenade walk in both directions. The owners are welcoming, friendly, eager to oblige and the breakfasts are cooked fresh, individually served and well presented even for my gluten free requirements. It was also great to have a parking facility at the premises.

Room 6 is in a glorious position on the third floor overlooking Weymouth Bay. The comfortable cane chair enhances your ability to enjoy that stunning view.

Bottled water was also a good touch as some hotels do not do this and you have to use the bathroom taps for drinking water. Breakfast was very hearty and I would look them up again if we want to stay in Weymouth.

  Staff were extremely hard working and friendly,and the Pub itself has a great atmosphere,I especially liked the Filk Music night,which I understand is a regular event,I have never heard or seen anything like it outside of Ireland,real traditional talent.The bar is well kept,and stocked.Breakfast is delicious.Do not think that staying at a pub woul... mitä ihmiset sanovat » d keep you awake at night,the rooms are pretty much soundproof from any music,and anyway,it's worth listening to anyway.I took my Dog with me,and the - Very friendy staff and a good cooked breakfast that was in with the price. I enjoy staying at this type of venue as there are always some great locals to talk to. Two well kept real ales. Just a short walk from the town centre along the quay. There was a folk night on in the pub when I stayed which was a bonus. I just need an excuse to come back to Weymouth now! Thanks ladies. Graham.
