I liked the very thoughtful touches - the good supply of decent coffee, the supply of toiletries, the dressing gowns and slippers. I like the fact the hotel was very quiet and I liked the garden. I liked the tasteful decor. There is a good ambience. I felt as if I'd had a restful stay somewhere lovely. The breakfast was good too. I liked the fact that there was no problem with parking. I was visiting Bath and parking is a nightmare so I decided to stay at the Northey and have no hassle.

Friendly atmosphere but staff did not intrude. The bar at the Hotel was popular with the locals who again were friendly but not intrusive. It was good to see a lively bar at this time with so many places closing. Close to various ancient monuments, white horses and Avebury. Good centre for walking and seeing the Wiltshire countryside. After a few City hotels this was a breath of fresh air and gave us the relaxing vacation we needed. The rooms were very large, the beds so comfortable, hard to wake up for the delicious breakfast that was included. Dinner options available and certainly worth reserving the food was amazing. Can't decide on deserts, well go for their mini desert option - get to sample them all..... we were made to feel at home by the owners and the staff were super and so helpful. We loved it.

Wonderful location in centre of Devizes. This has always been one of my favourite pubs especially in winter with log fires, friendly bar staff, lots of dogs and a good range of food and drinks available at all times of day. First time I had stayed here and I was very pleased with the large, comfortably furnished room overlooking the market place.

Friendly, helpful staff. Fantastic breakfast! We were travelling with our son, his partner and a very young baby and also an elderly mother and aunt. All were very happy with all aspects of the hotel. They were also very accommodating when we requested early check-ins in order to change for a wedding. All in all a lovely hotel.

Very friendly staff with good food. The breakfast was delicious but beware of the portion size (huge). The coaching inn is in the centre of Devizes. Ask to see the cellars as they were part of a tunnel system that ran all around Devizes in the old days. Room No. 4 is said to be one of the most haunted in England.
