  Fantastic apartment in a great location, close to the main bars and shops etc. Someone came and met us at the apartment to show us around, how to use the heating, oven etc. The apartment had 3 bedrooms upstairs with 8 single beds then down a spiral staircase to the huge living space, kitchen and patio doors to an outside decking area.   We had a fabulous one night stay at The Chester Residence. Staff were very helpful and the suite was fantastic. All rooms were very spacious (we had the 1st floor suite) and the location was only about 5 minutes walk from Haymarket and Princes Street. The neighborhood was quiet and clean. Flat screen tv with multiple satellite channels. Kitchen well stocked daily with breakfast/snack items. Reception/housekeeping more than helpful and friendly. Would highly recommend to anyone and return to this hotel without a doubt.

I will - Room was very nicely and comfortably furnished, inpeccably clean that it made me feel at home immediately. There were nearby bus stops but I had preferred to walk (about 15 minutes to Waverley Station). A large supermarket (Tesco) is 5 minutes away and so are a number of restaurants. I went on a day tour that set off early in the morning and John (the owner) gladly served breakfast earlier than usual for me, so that was great hospitality. The rooms were very well designed, spotless and the bed was very comfy, not to mention the view we had (room 8) was spectacular over Edinburgh and the castle! The house is in walking distance to the castle and the royal mile. There are several good restaurants in walking distance (5-10 minutes).

  Very clean, very smart and I would thoroughly recommend. I travelled with my two boys (11 and 12) for the Open at Muirfield and was great for access to Edinburgh Waverley whilst being right next to Calton Hill and 15 mins from Arthur's Seat (bottom not top) for the great views of Edinburgh. - The apartment was an excellent choice for our stay in ... mitä ihmiset sanovat » Edinburgh. It was beautifully decorated as well as comfortable and very well located near London Rd & Leith Walk. We will stay there again on a return trip and recommend it highly.
