We were very impressed with the excellent customer service provided. The food was delicious and the restaurant and rooms remained very clean. We loved the powerful, hot shower inside the room and the room as a whole was well prepared with tea and coffee and a clean, comfy bed and bathroom. Management staff and other staff were welcoming and friendly and the full English breakfast and carvery was fresh, not and delicious. We enjoyed our stay and would visit Toby Carveries again and stay.

Spotlessly clean facilities, excellent food, warm and welcoming atmosphere and the most comfy beds (even the sofa bed) Generous amounts of tea,coffee and biscuits and efficient cleaning staff daily.Would not stay anywhere else in Birmingham. Second visit to this hotel and will be back without any doubt!! Highly recommend to anyone. The room we were given was spacious, clean and comfortable. Continental breakfast was good with plenty to choose from. We never felt the need to pay extra for the full Engish option. Parking and check-in were both easy. Staff were helpful and friendly. We were visiting family and going out in the countryside so this place, on the edge of the city, was handily placed. Great location. Loved having a carvery onsite. Easy parking. Breakfast was OK, would have begrudged paying extra for it. Was nice to have the option of carvery breakfast if we wanted. Spacious clean, comfortable room, perfect after our trip to Cadbury World. Check in & out was quick and easy. this was very clean and the staff were very friendly and helpfull. the room was very clean and tidy and I would say that the bed was the most comfortable bed iv ever slept in highly recommend iv previously stayed in the travelers inn which is close by and its an absolute dive compared to here. Everything I needed was right to hand. What a plus having a Toby Carvery being in part of the building. Lovely food at all times. All staff from the cleaners to bar and restaurant staff were helpful, pleasant and polite. Looking forward to staying there again. I was surprised how quiet the room was given that we were on a major Birmingham road. I considered the room to be as good as others that I have stayed in that were far more expensive and therefore that it was very good value for money. What a great hotel! Staff all very friendly, especially Joan who was great with our little boy at breakfast. It is centrally located for many local attractions. Would highly recommend and have already done so to friends and family. Staff nice. Car parking facilities free. Night time access. Very good food available at adjoining Toby Carvery exceptionally good value. Homely bedroom. Bus stops in both directions to City Cenre directly outside door. Room was a good size and staff were always polite. Nothing was a hassle and requests were dealt with quickly. Room was quiet and you wouldn't know you were above a pub. Comfortable bed and travel cot provided. Perfect location as my daughter lives 2 minutes away. Quiet,friendly & comfortable. Best English breakfast in town. Our stay at the Inn keepers lodge started off well with a friendly welcome(which was continued by all the staff) the stay was so good we re-booked again for our return journey. The Innkeepers Lodge was great. The room was clean and large enough for 2. Loved the carvery downstairs and had both breakfast and dinner there. A beaut place to stay. the accommodation was fantastic value for money and the food was second to none.the staff were so helpful and lovely people. we will definitely book here again. The area wasn't the best and so we were limited to the hotel itself....advice provided in the hotel in leaflet form would be a benefit too. No real criticisms as we were impressed overall. Leaving!. Getting down the stairs to our room with luggage wasn't easy. We were one of two rooms downstairs and the wifi barely reached us. I had to take my laptop upstairs and stand in the corridor to gain a signal. Nothing to complain about. the sausage for breakfast was not the best of quality but I would not let this put me of staying here again. I have no complaints about my stay at all. The lack of prepared fruit to have with my cereal. Not a thing!. Carpet and pictures on landings made us think we had made wrong choice but pleasantly surprised with bedroom and facilities. Not enough linen for a family room but was sorted within minutes of checking in. Couldn't fault anything. As a family with a young child we thought it a little strange having the reception as part of a bar in the carvery/pub but when we went through the doors and up the stairs it was all fine. That said the service was immediate, friendly and very good. The mattress on the double bed could probably do with replacing some time soon, but it was ok for one night. problems at first with the hot water, but was quickly rectified!. Beds were slightly uncomfortable but I still slept ok. Nothing really. I was quite happy with everything and it was good value for money. My bedroom was a bit cold. Nothing at all couldn't have been more welcoming. None. Breakfast was very disorganised and basic. Had to keep asking for plates, cups and glasses, which was a bit of a pain. reception is at the bar in the restaurant and everybody is busy and hard to get to, poor continental breakfast. Absolutely no complaints whatsoever!. The family room no 102 almost feels like its in the cellar. You would struggle to see the sky from the window. It is very dark and on your way down to the room you will pass a large patch of damp on the wall. It was very clean but smelt musty. Difficult to get my dad up the stairs with bags as no lift !. There was nothing we didn't like. Can't think of anything!. Nothing!. nothing. bed very soft. Nothing to dislike. The duvets were not a thick enough tog and the room seemed cold. Several lights in the bedroom did not work because the bulbs were dead. The bathroom fan ran all the time even when the light was off. There was a rumbling sound that was quite anoying,I think it could have been boiler system we were in room 101. The Bed was dreadful for me no support in the mattress. The four youngsters that turned up at 2am in their car in the back carpark playing there radio till 3.30 in the morning at full blast, we rang the hotel number to no avail, didn't find the night porters number till 7am next morning to late then but this wasn't the hotels fault. nothing. minor thing, no complimentary toothpaste.
