  The bed was the hardest yet on my 3 month trip in S.E.Asia, but we solved it by putting a the mattress from an extra-bed on top. It was very comfortable. Unlike many other hotels/hostels in the same area, there was air and space - in the outdoor restaurant, the garden and the courtyard for parking. There was a washing machine! Very good. Theres a great cafe a 3 minute walk from here called Chomp that has amazing food and homemade bread and amazing service.

  Sam Sen Sam was a tranquil haven in amongst the hustle and bustle of Bangkok. The room was large and spotless, the staff were friendly and helped us find our way around. Great breakfast.   The location is very good, central and quiet because not directly on the street. The value for the price is quite good (big room, though not the luxury one, but with air-con, en-suite bathroom and a comfortable bed). So if you plan to visit the city, that can be a good option. - Clean and comfortable, friendly staff. Beer in lobby fridge :)

  Good walking distance to the ' great palace and others. Only 3-4 minuts walking to the pier where you can take the boat into the city for only 15 baht p.p. On the last pier station (Taksin Station) you can walk easily to the skybar or take the skytrain to siamcenter etc. The room was clean and had everything for a good 2-4 day citytrip.
