  Pension Alameda is family owned. The whole family is very willing to help. Some have limited English. The room is clean. As other have commented it is a bit noisy. But then you are based at the square which is full of life in the weekends. It didn't disturb me, but I imagine it might be a but noisier in the high season. Good value for money.   Very well situated for visiting historic centre of Malaga & beach. Also very close to the marina where there are lots of bars and restaurants. Receptionist efficient & helpful. No restaurant but no problem either as receptionist gave us cards for 3 restaurants at the marina which gave us a 10% discount. Very good value for th - The receptionist when we checked in was very friendly and helpful, the room was comfortable and the bathroom was good for the money. The location was excellent, a five minute walk from the city centre. Also, the 24 hour reception was very convenient. We really enjoyed our stay.

We askedto borrow an iron and ironing board and got them, other hotels had saidthey didnt lend these to guests. It fulfilled all the family's requirements for a hotel in Cordoba in August. Not only was the swimming pool a great advantage but what with it's location and helpful and friendly staff makes this hotel a place we hope to return to.
