Wow - what a wonderful place to rest, relax and explore the “Ruta de los Pueblos Blancos”. The interior decoration of the Cortijo El Guarda is just fantastic, every detail is perfect. Miranda and Hans are wonderful hosts. You really feel like you are staying in their home, not just their hotel. didn't matter what window you were to look out of, each one had an
idyllic view of the mountains in Villanueva del Rosario. Breakfast and
dinner were first-class!

The location is perfect for seeing Granada and for experiencing the Albaycin - the old town with narrow cobbled streets on the hill opposite the Alhambra. Ainhoa, the owner is really helpful and friendly and made us very welcome. We had a room with a terrace which was a bonus.

The cave hotel rooms are very nicely appointed and the pool was lovely. The family that run the hotel were very helpful and enthusiastic about sharing the history and geography of the surrounding area and life in a cave house. Both the kids and adults in the family were fascinated and the area around was very attractive with the snow capped Sierra Nevadas in the distance.

We stayed at Casa Azul in December. We found the hotel very convenient for all areas of the city and the buses to the centre were also frequent and stopped close to the hotel. This is a very nice bed & breakfast, very close to the sea and in walking distance of the centre of the city. Our room was very tastefully decorated and made us feel right at home.
The owners are very helpful and friendly and take very good care of their guests with an eye for detail. You couldn't wish for better hosts!
We would certainly book a room for a second time at La Casa Azul if we were to visit Malaga again!
