  We stayed one night in room 226 above the garden dining area. The room is very romantic and quiet once the hotel staff stopped work in the evening. The best part was the fact that this hotel & the Paramor next door are the only hotels within the walls of the Alhambra... Quite unique! Just go next door to eat & drink as there is nowhere else to go when the sun finally does go do - Perfect location for those visiting the Alhambra and willing to see the neighbooring Albayzín and Sacromonte. I could be at the Nazarín Palaces in less than 5 minutes walk from the hotel. Very friendly and helpful staff, willing to accomodate my needs. Beautiful building, a wonderful terrace as a summer restaurant, very pleasant even at the peak heat of the day.

  We stayed as part of a road trip around Andalucia. This was the final hotel on the stay. We had come to Granada expressly to visit the Alhambra Palace. This hotel was perfectly positioned. We could walk to the Alhambra (15 minutes) plus were close to the Arab quarter. Our room felt modern, contemprary, the bed was comfy. the HD TV wasn't used. The hotel rooms are accessed - The place was beautiful and meticulously kept. Staff was friendly and helpful every day. Although the hotel is right on Carrero del Darro, which has a busy nightlife, you still feel tranquility in the common areas and hotel rooms - windows are excellently soundproofed. The breakfast buffet for 7 euros is cheaper in comparison to other hotels, which have charged closer to 16 euros.

  The hotel is amazing and the staff are excellent. We arrived during Siesta but the staff had still made it easy for us to get into our room and go and use the pool and allowed us to check in later. Hotel in general is picture worthy and the rooms are great. They even leave the room with tea and coffee, milk and drinks etc which - Have great view of Alhambra. Needs a little uphill walk, but walking is historical district is very nice. Rooms have small snacks, kitchen facilities, which was a plus. Although due to arriving time we didn't meet any staff on arrival date, we got keys, maps, useful local information and recommendations without any difficulties.

  The staff at the Portago Urban we're very friendly and accommodating to our needs during the stay. A requested room change was done with no drama and they assisted with some business issues I was having at the time. I really cannot thank them enough.   What a place!!! And what a hotel!!! The room we stayed was perfect. The interior design was outstanding and had a small terrace with a breathtaking view to Alhambra.
