  The hotel is just beautiful. It's a three hundred year old Palazzo that has been meticulously restored, with great attention to detail and luxury. Our room was quite outstanding - extremely " high tech" ( comment from our 21 year old who was very impressed!) combined with traditional, lavish furnishings - drapes, pelmets, wallpaper, furniture ; if... mitä ihmiset sanovat » you are into design and interior decorating, this is the place! We felt very welcomed and " at home" in beautiful surroundings. The staff were incred - This hotel was our favorite from all of our hotels this trip. The location was perfect for walking everywhere and easy access from the water taxi at Rialto bridge....just remember to turn at the Disney store and you'll always find it! We did eat in the restaurant one night and it was very good. Our waiter was excellent and I'm pretty sure he is the only Italian waiter to have smiled at us our whole trip (no joke!) We also had a couples massage one evening. Though I would not say it is a "spa"

  The location of this small family run hotel was perfect, close to absolutely everything (we recommend to get off at the Rialto water bus stop, it's very close to here, rather than San Marco). The staff were lovely, and were more than happy to give great local dinner recommendations and tips on where to go and what to see in Venice.   We really enjoyed the lovely personal as well as the location, not far away from the Rialto bridge. If you have problems finding your way, ask the polite Venetians. For travellers on a smaller budget this is great value for the money. The breakfast consists of sweet food stuffs, but that is what most Italians eat.   Davide was very helpful with all our questions before and during our stay. Everyone else there was also very pleasant. A very quiet place, especially for the great location between San Marco and Rialto Bridge. The room and bathroom were very clean, and the bed quite comfy. Wi-fi worked and it was nice to have someone at the desk until 7:00. We wo - Location is great! It takes just 5 minutes to reach San Marco, the same time you will need to walk to Realto, and 20 minutes leisurely to Train Station S.Lucia. But the most important thing is friendly considerate personnel!

  This bed and breakfast is very close to the San Basilio port where our ferry docked. It's a good thing the staff on the ferry explained to me that there is no rhyme or reason to the numbering of buildings in Venice, only that it will be in a certain area. We had booked a room with private bathroom and we ended up having the room with the bat - The staff is very friendly, we loved fresh bread for breakfast)) The B&B is located in a quite area close to St.Barnaba square, though it's not easy to find it since the numbering in Venice is beyond logics)) and the address consists of the name of area and building number. My advice would be to get a detailed explanation before checking in and having a detailed map. There many places to eat around working until late nite.
