As soon as you step inside you feel the friendliness and warmth of a family-based business. We had a room with a canal view, the beds were cozy and the shower great - all of this more than made up for the humble furnishings. Just 5 minutes from the station, and the restaurant next door is good. We won't bother looking anywhere else for our stays in Venice.

I like the location - it's less than 10 mins walk from the train station. It's also surrounded by good restaurants (incidentally, a very good one just next to the hotel).
The room was clean and had an attached bathroom. The aircon was working nicely - no weird smells.

The staff were exremely friendly and helpful. The reception was open on a 24hr basis and so arriving at night was no problem. The room was comfortable and very clean and the bathroom brand new. Location within Venice was great, less than 5 min walk to Rialto Bridge.
Room was a great size, with instantly hot shower - have heard that in
Venice you can get both a small room and bad water pressure but no
issues on this side. Staff very helpful, we got to check in early as the
room was ready and they kept our bags safe on the last day until late at
night. Also ate in the restaurant which was good food, staff here more
than helpful as the terrace flooded during high tide and they piggy
back
