will get lost (I got delightfully lost several times), but I thought
Residenza La Loggia was super easy to find. With only the map provided
from their website I went straight from the St. Mark's vaporetto
stop (from the airport) to the B&B with no wrong turns.

The hotel is just off main walking alley Calle dei Fabbri some 4 minutes north from San Marco. The distance between houses on opposite side in this area are tiny co do not expect any view from your window. If you do not mind this then Residenza la Loggia might be just the right place for your stay. Before our arrival we got informative e-mails how to find the place and they were very helpful.
Everything was good, the Rose room was very beautiful. There are total of three rooms and two bathrooms to share, which was totally OK. The bathrooms were clean and modern. Breakfast was basic - toasts, jams, cereal, yoghurt, coffee, tea, juice, fruit. Location is very good, about 200 metres from St Marks Square.
Fortunately there was the option to leave your luggage in the apartment and pick them up

Set in the heart of the San Marco neighborhood the room was a refreshing new, contemporary and comfortable change to the more traditional places we stayed during our trip. Large bathroom with walk in shower, new furnishings, and helpful staff were great. Breakfast delivered to the room each day and on time was a plus. -

Absolutely loved it. The owner, Matteo came and met us at Rialto Bridge,
from there it was a few minutes walk to the hotel. St Marks square was
just a few minutes walk too. We were upgraded from out triple room (on
the canal, which was delightful) to two very large adjoining rooms on

The experience of staying here was excellent even before we arrived! As we were arriving really late into Venice, Matteo assured us it was no problem to meet us at San Marco vaporetto and walked us to the B&B! A nice touch so late at night!

Location, location, location. You're literally minutes away from both the Rialto and Piazza San Marco. Yet, once you get inside the B&B, it feels more like home and the touristy/hectic buzz of the outside feels farther away. Service was excellent. If you can't be shown to your room yet (ie. you show up early) or you have a later flight to catch, they'll let you leave your bags with no hassle and will even serve you coffee in the common area.

learning English, so he enjoys visiting and hearing about your day. Our
room was magnificent. We overlooked the canal and had the sounds of the

Lady managers very hospitable and accommodating. Rushed to get room ready as we arrived early and gave us coffee etc while we waited. Gave us map of city and pointed out highlights re eating and main attractions. Room made up daily with nice fresh towels and water provided in fridge.
