  The Taj Malabar is a superb smallish quality hotel set in beutiful grounds with expansive views accross a wide river estuary to the old Kochi city and newer commercial docks beyond. The movement of ships adds to the scene. From the moment you enter the premises you know you are in for a pleasantly memorable stay. But the Malabar Taj is best remembered for its service whi - I am totally impressed with the level of service provided by everyone, from the spa therapists, to the receptionists, and the waiters. The housekeeping service was impeccable, and I was delighted by the nice extra touch of towels nicely folded into different animals everyday. As a solo traveller, security is a great priority.
