Gini and George were excellent hosts! We stayed on two occassions, at the start and end of our Kerala trip, and found it to be comfortable and perfect for exploring Fort Cochin. Our hosts were extremely helpful with finding our way around the area and advised us on the best ways on travelling onto Munnar and organised taxis to and from the airport. This is superior budget option with internet cafe, food cafe, tour advice, backwater boat tickets, and really smart and interesting staff who will do everything to make an excellent stay in Kochi. Also comfortable rooms with 24 hour hot water.
