  The room was very spacious and had a small kitchenette. Having a ear plug was a nice touch due to being in a busy area. Also, having a jacuzzi tub in the room was a bonus.   We stayed in the Vatnsstigur 11 building, which is perfectly located just off the main street Laugevegur - close to everything, but not disturbed by nightlife at all.   A quiet house in a residential area. It feels more like you've visited someone's house than staying in a hotel. There are several shared bathrooms, which are well equipped and maintained. There's even a full bath in one. There's a full kitchen with dishes, pots and pans and a fridge so you can cook meals if you wish.   Alfred was very friendly and helpful in arranging Flybus booking to make our stay pleasant as possible. Room is well equipped to make simple hot meals with cooker and microwave oven. Rooms are clean, no regular room service as it is a serviced apartment. Bathroom is large compared to larger hotels we have stayed in here. Location is v good. Noise is expected from street, crow - Great location, within walking distance of everything. Hallidor, the resident manager was amazing. Nice and cozy, the kitchen was fully stocked with all cookware and utensils, microwave, coffee maker, and fridge. The grocery store, Bonus, is literally at the corner and across the street. Can't wait to go back next year!!

One of the owners proceeded to put the duvets and pillowcases on the bed while we chatted with her, just as a friend might do with a house guest.   The guesthouse is in a lovely residential area which is 5-10mins walk from town. It is a much nicer area to stay in as the other bigger hotels are in a less attractive area. I caught the bus (15) easily from the Fly Bus station. The guesthouse has all kitchen facilities for cooking and a good tv for everyone to gather around.
