  From the moment that we drove down through the city streets to City Center Hotel, we knew that the location was just right on. We were near the majority of restaurants, museums & galleries and shopping. Everything was in walking distance. The staff was very helpful in all aspects that a visitor to Iceland would expect.   A quiet house in a residential area. It feels more like you've visited someone's house than staying in a hotel. There are several shared bathrooms, which are well equipped and maintained. There's even a full bath in one. There's a full kitchen with dishes, pots and pans and a fridge so you can cook meals if you wish.   The staff were all incredibly nice and helpful, and they make you feel right at home. The facilities were great too (fully-equipped kitchen, hot showers with tub, and free laundry facilities). The bathrooms aren't gorgeous, but they are charming and everything works quite well. The location was good as well.
