The family was very friendly and we got excellent service. We arrived late, but we felt very welcome and was offered something to drink. Lovely place to stay. We were there for three nights, and really enjoyed
it. The hosts are very gracious, gave us lots of good information on
where to eat, things to do in the area. And they were very generous in
sharing their home with us on a rainy afternoon. Location is very good
for access to any number of sights or activities.

Wonderful place to relax and enjoy Iceland countryside. Many places of interest nearby because it is right in the golden triangle.
The hot tub is amazing. Beautiful views from the cottage that has open glass windows and a very big terrass.
It is even better than on the pictures. (except for the river that we could not access)

I was travelling with my family from Belgium through Iceland and we stopped at Laugarvatn on our way from Reykjavik through the highlands to Akureyri.
The summerhouse is perfectly located in the center of the famous Golden Circle.
Perfect location, beautiful nature and view, quiet, excellent facility, superb terrace with hot tub and BBQ.
If you want to experience Iceland like the Icelanders, this is a typical Icelandic summerhouse

Svein and his wife were excellent hosts, and very helpful with suggestions of places to go. The location is very good for day trips in several directions, and the rooms and other areas very pleasant. Would definitely go back there on a future trip to Iceland. -

This was the best place we stayed. It's absolutely amazing - the
guesthouse is immaculate, only a year old. The beds are so comfortable,
the room is simple and homey. The couple who own the guesthouse are the
most friendly people we met in Iceland, the gentleman who owns the place

A fantastic place to stay. The owner was an extremely friendly and helpful gentleman, and could not have helped us more. After we arrived, he showed us our room, then took the time to sit down with us and chat about our plans, and gave us recommendations on the best routes to drive and where to eat dinner etc.
The room itself was great - it was modern, clean, and comfortable. As previously mentioned, there was no in-room TV, but who cares?! If you are bored of your wife/husband/travel companio

First of all we had booked a basic double bedroom but we soon found out that the owners had given us one of the suites, as it was available. Moreover, the owners were lovely and helpful people! The location was a 5 minute walk to the restaurants, and away from any noise. The price was very reasonable for the 3-bed self-contained apartment. Breakfast cost extra, but was generous and had a good variety. Wi-fi was included and worked very well. The apartment was comfortable and spacious - good size bathroom, lounge, dining, kitchenett and bedroom. The lady was very lovely and helpful. There was on-site parking. I highly recommend this for a relaxing stay.

This was the best place we have booked in our 7 nights in Iceland. The landlord was funny and he prepared a very good breakfast with waffles and fish based food.He was a nice company. The guesthouse was incredible!! We loved the location. It is situated in a very nice neighborhood that is conveniently located a block from the pool facilities. And the pool recreation center was incredible after spending the day hiking! The owners were wonderful to deal with, very helpful and accommodating. Definitely purchase the breakfast ~

Hotel Manager Jon and staff made sure that we were comfortable. The
food choice and preparation for us was awesome since we were the only
couple that evening having dinner. The hotel is in winter operation,
thus visitors have dropped off. Jon exchanged culture info with us.
Made many suggestions as to where to visit Icelandic historical sites
nearby. Gave a very informative talk on the geological activity in the
region. The hotel room was very comfortable with plenty of hot water.
