  I thought the hotel was clean, easy to find, and nicely situated right along the coast. It was a great relief to finally get there when we had been driving for so long. After some of the other hotels we stayed in around the country, the hotel was comfortable enough, clean and well presented, and breakfast was great! Like many of the hotels in Icel... mitä ihmiset sanovat » and though, it was very basic and quite expensive for the quality of the hotel room in comparison to a similar room in the Netherlands or the US (wher - Large rooms for Iceland with large bathroom, good breakfast included, great staff. Good deal compared to our other stays in Iceland. Nice to be in Hofn where we had access to grocery store and restaurants.

  We stayed at a 3 bedroom apartment over the Posturinn, not in the main guesthouse. The apartment was lovely, large and clean. The staff was incredibly helpful and kind - they replaced the faucet while we were there and came within 3 minutes when we locked ourselves out at 11pm. Serve yourself breakfast was included which was good, guests sitting room and kitchen/dining room were nice and spacious. Nice outside seating area.
