  We spent just a few gorgeous days at Velanera hotel. It is a pieceful place with nice, newly equipped bedrooms and very helpfull, friendly staff. We really enjoyed having breakfasts at the beautifull terrace overlooking swimming pool. Their scrammbled eggs with vegetable were definitely the best we ever had. The breakfast was excellent, we had to wait for it a bit long, but once it was served it was really good. The location is nice, peaceful, but you would need a car if you want to explore other areas which you definitely need to do when in Istria so it is a good starting point and an excellent place to come back to after day excursions.

  WOW....we enjoyed a fabulous relaxing three nights at San Rocco to end our 2 week trip to Crotia. This hotel was a remarkable find, total relaxation from entering premises. It is small and luxurious, staff are most helpful and always on hand but in a completely unobtrusive way - nothing being too much trouble. The apartment was wonderfully decorated by the owner, a most kind and helpful lady. - Rovinj is beautiful and the apartment and the owner were just fantastic.
