  I stayed in a triple bed accomodation with private bathroom, so they offered modern and young design, in an excellent location, nice breakfast, comfortable room, nice closet and and clean bathroom.   The staff, mostly young, smiling, helpful Chilenas (women) could not have been more welcoming...The beds were comfortable and new, the bed linens of good quality...excellent location in a peaceful residential neighborhood in the heart of Santiago, a 10-15 minute walk from two Metro stations... Can walk to most of the places of interest and spots in town, if one has the aptitude. Almenas is a nice cosy home/hostel, comfortable place to sleep in and a clean complete private bath (have to opt for it though). The staff is professional and courteous. And yes, Wi-fi is available and works very well. Breakfast was simple but sufficient as one would eat at home.

  If you are going to Santiago I highly recomend staying here. I started my 5 month trip in south america here, and by the returned here again for another week in santiago before I left. The staff are amazing especially the kitchen staff and cleaner Lita, always preparing a beautiful breakfast and has great energy, full of bubles, always had me smili... mitä ihmiset sanovat » ng, also catalina and mi, on reception were always helpful with anything we needed, you will even see the owner Ari around everyday who is always very - The staff was really friendly. Because I wasn't able to have femile dorm they upgrated me to a private room for three nights. Thank you! Staff also was happy to tell you about tours and other things which helped me.
