Location right in the heart of the old part ,murals everywhere ,small resturants run by local people for local people .Out the door and turn left and you end up in the city turn right and left and you are in old town shjopping mainly cloths and jewellery .turn left and left and cross and there is a little shop for bread water (aqua sin gas ,,gas free )ham etc.Inside and you are transformed into an old Chilean house ,all wood (hence the noisy ) atmosphere and ambiance .I had a single room ,comf.

I would definitely stay here if I visit Santiago again!. Stuff are really nice, they can speak english, have a nice terrace, fast wifi. really quiet but they have the bar just next the hostel. Calm, peaceful, friendly. Really clean, really calm. The common areas are really good as well (with a pool table). Breakfast has more stuff than I've seen in other Santiago hostels. Helpfull staff Great location for restaurants, also close to downtown Very spacious place, large rooms, very comfortable. Staff was very friendly and helpful! We also had a private room that was very beautiful. nice, cosy, good common aera, pretty good PC (internet is working!), breakfast is ok. I liked the service of reception of the hostel staff. The hostal is very cosy. Good value for the money and centrally located. I need my sleep !! I found it very noisy at night but then I am a light sleeper .If you are one of those lucky people then this IS the place to be. It can get a bit noisy, perhaps because of the attached bar. It also feels cold at night in the rooms with no or minimum heating in winter. No good wifi in the room. Kitchen is a little bit small. The private bathroom's shower didn't work properly and was quite miserable to shower in. could be cheaper, but guess still worth the money. The hostel did not fulfill its promise in reserve and had not TV and bathroom in the bedroom. When there was the possibility to exchange the room, did not. Showed total lack of interest in fulfilling its promise. The walls are very thin and it is noisy. Very loud restaurant attached, which can be a problem if your room is located above it. Neighborhood is in good location but be careful at night -- some guys tried to mug me when I was walking back from Pio Nono. Also, you have to shower very quickly because the hot water runs out in about two minutes. I was provided with hairdryer very old which also burned. very dangerous. through the door, people may see room inside from outside. this makes your staying there feel not that safe and private.
