Absolutely everything! Staff were helpful, courteous and friendly and were very knowledgeable regarding sightseeing, museums, restaurants etc. in Santiago and surrounding areas. Nothing was too much to ask for. Reception staff also had a good grasp of the English language. The location of the hotel is excellent, on the borders of the bohemian and business districts and most sites worth seeing are within easy and safe walking distance. To top it all, I found Santiago the most enjoyable city.
kaikki arvostelut » The staff were the best hat we have encountered during our tour of South America. Both the day + night shift knew their business and looked after us very well. Breakfast was superb and I loved the fresh strawberry juice! The location itself proved a good choice. It is the other side of the river from the centre, but it is only a short 10/12 minute walk. The street is quiet, but it is only a 10 minute stroll to the heart of bellavista for the nightlife and restaurants. Mega comfy bed. Staff was exceptional. Responded to all requests beyond expectations including shopping around for better prices for a car service to Valparaiso. They saved me 45,000 pesos doing this even when I said the original price was acceptable. Additionally, the matters in my room was very very comfortable for a hotel of this price range. Breakfast was excellent as well. Overall, I was extremely pleased with Hotel Loreto and would recommend it to anyone. the best location for exploring bella vista, recoleta, la vega, mercado central, centro, plaza de armas, la moneda, parque forrestal, museo bellas artes, cerro santa lucia, plaza italia, and parque metropolitano. i walked to all of these places. strong free wifi signal throughout the hotel. This is a great hotel. The staff is friendly and helpful and makes you feel right at home. The rooms were comfortable. The continental breakfast was better than at hotels which cost much more. The roof top patio was a delight. This hotel deserves accolades!. Very contemporary, great location, good price, friendly staff. Let us keep our bags locked up and even shower after checkout, since our flights didn't depart until later that night. Fast, free wi-fi too. Great breakfast that is included. We had a little trouble with TV reception and the air conditioner. My room had a bathroom that was in a separate room. I had to leave my room and cross the hall to get to it. In the grand scheme of things it is a very minor inconvenience, but strange nonetheless. The vast majority of rooms didn't appear to be set up like this, so if the idea bothers you be sure to ask for a room with its own bathroom. The breakfast was really good but didn't change much. After a few days I was tired of the same food items. No air conditioning. There was a fan in the room, but it was a little warm a couple of nights. the single room is tiny while the difference in price was minimal. Even a solo traveller needs to book a double if you want some room. The bathroom was incredibly small. Tiny bathroom but OK for me. Small shower. - There is no lift. - Despite our previous email request to stay up to 1st floor (elder people and no lift), they forgot and we stayed 2 nights in 3rd floor). - Pay attention on time to check out to pay the bill: credit card system did not work late at night which caused some problems. The rooms are so small. small bathroom.
