We were attending a wedding in the area and the Dukeries seemed a good choice in terms of distance and price - we weren't disappointed. The lads behind the bar were very friendly, especially the assistant manager, Carl, who was very helpful and welcoming. The room was spacious, clean and comfortable. The food was good. The staff in the morning were cheery and again very friendly and helpful. Breakfast was very hearty and set us up for the day!

The room was just as we hoped, private, set out to a very high standard,
the food in the pub was to die for, the owners and staff could not do
enough for you. There are some small pigs on the land that are not for
food and the owner will let you pet them we had a really relaxing time
walking in the village and just having time out from the every day life.

The staff Were very friendly and helpful from start to finish, We went. Group of girls for a Night out in notts they didnt stigmatise us, in fact they Were more than willing to ensure We Were comfortable and has everything We needed to ha e a good time. Our room was very clean, spacous enough, lovely hot shower and plenty of mirrors!!! It was also appropriate got families. Couldnt have ask for anything more! :-)

Our second visit to the Bramley Apple, again staying overnight for a local 2 day event. The hosts have changed since last year, but were just as welcoming, helpful & friendly. In fact, a handshake over the bar on arrival does make you feel like a guest, not just a customer.

The whole experience from start to finish was great. The land lord of the pub has only been there since January and made us feel so welcome. We went for an evening horse racing meet and he was kind enough to offer to take us back in the morning to collect our car. The young man behind the bar was very friendly and coudlnt do enough to help us. Breakfast was a good home cooked fry up with plenty of tea and coffee to go with it.

Our stay was an unplanned last-minute one and although it was past the normal checking in times we were still made most welcome. The room was smart, clean and comfortable with everything you need. The hotel has a modern but homely feel to it and I would recommend it to anyone who wanted to stay in the area.
