Very much liked the decor - youthful and trendy, unexpected but great. The room was VERY comfortable. LOVED the mattress. Bathroom was roomy. Enjoyed having the small fridge in the room. Staff was very helpful and pleasant. Breakfast was amazing. Would definitely stay there again. -

Lunch/Evening menus were excellent. We were lucky to be on 'Pie
night' (Wed), with about 8 to choose from (on other nights you can
still get 3/4). They were all excellent according to our party of 7.
We had a different meal on the other day - again, very good.
Staff were friendly and helpful.

Huge Car park, so if you intend to tour the area by car or want to split
your journey this Hotel is ideal and at £44.95 a night for a single room
it is a bargain. Its also attached to a good restaurant that does
evening meals, again good to know if you arrive having completed a long
journey. The rooms were clean the staff friendly.

Lovely spacious room with big fluffy towels. Very nice, friendly couple. Pretty village and quiet location. Good access to Lincoln & Nottingham but away from the bustle. The limited parking on the drive wasn't a problem as there was plenty of spacious at the front and side of the house to park. -

Very friendly staff always at hand.
Very quiet peaceful nights sleep.
Extremely useful for the cricket ground, forest football club or the Trent riverside.

The Gardeners Lodge B&B has only one room, but what a room! The room is very clean and tidy and has the allure of a four star hotel. You will receive a warm welcome from the young owners.
There is a nice big bed, dimmable lights around, a large TV with plenty of channels to choose from and good working free WiFi, etc.

What an absolute little Gem this is. Admittedly, when you first arrive, things seem a little unusual, as you are led through the garden to what looks like a converted garage but once inside, it really is home from home. Lovely comfy bed, very secure and peaceful, spotlessly clean and the breakfast was excellent (especially as it was served in my room - couldn't have been better). I would have no hesitation recommending the Gardeners Lodge to anyone - you will certainly be made to feel very welc

The owner, Samantha, is very friendly and accommodating. We stayed 4 nights and every morning she prepared a superb breakfast with local products. Room was very cosy and the bed was very comfortable. We had a totally relaxed stay in Laxton. Across the B&B is a very good Inn, The Dovecote, where each night, we had a wonderful diner. -

I highly recommend this B & B. On arrival we were welcomed into Sherwood Cottage like old friends. The cottage is not only beautifully decorated, it is spotlessly clean. Nothing is too much trouble for David and Paul, and the breakfast was scrumptious. We will most definitely be back, though not soon enough. -
